Elwood Main, LLC, an entity registered to BradyMac Capital Advi- sory, wants to create 13 one-bedroom apartments on the upper floors of the property, along with 1,700 square feet of retail on the bottom floor. Milford DoubleTree sells for $21M e DoubleTree hotel in Milford has sold for nearly $21 million to Lexington hospitality company Jamsan Hotel Man- agement. e 177-room hotel includes eight meeting rooms totaling 10,000 square feet of space. Jamsan Hotel Management says it owns hotels across the Northeast. It has bought two hotels in Plymouth this year, adding to two it already owned in the town and another in adjacent Kingston. e hotel was last owned by Milford TBL Investment Group, a limited liabil- ity corporation based in Hanover. One of the registered managers of Milford TBL is Glenn Gistis, CFO of the Linchris Hotel Corp. in Plymouth. WBJ's Welker named top New England reporter Grant Welker, the news editor for the Worcester Business Journal, has won the Master Reporter award from the New England Society of News Editors. Welker is being honored for the entirety of his 13- year career, which includes reporting work at the Lowell Sun and the Herald News in Fall River. Welker joined WBJ in February 2017. Past recipients of the NESNE Master Reporter award include Jennette Barnes from e Standard-Times in New Bedford and Josh Kovner from e Hartford Courant. Welker was nominat- ed in the non-daily category. Welker will receive the award in a May 2 ceremony at the offices of e Boston Globe.
