Robidoux joined Goman+York in 2018 as engagement manager after serving as general manager for The Shoppes at Farmington Valley in Canton. She previously served as a development manager for the national nonprofit Boundless Playgrounds. Rick Williams was appointed business development manager for the measuring division of Kaman Precision Products Inc., the Middletown-based designer and manufacturer of high- performance position measurement systems. Williams previously worked as business development manager for a bearings manufacturer. In his new position, he will be responsible for business in the West Coast of the United States, as well as Asia, Australia, New Zealand and western Canada. Congressman John Larson announced five promotions and two new hires on his staff. Promotions include Scott Stephanou to chief of staff for Larson's Washington D.C. office; Maureen Moriarty to chief of staff of Larson's Hartford office; Lisa Perrone to senior district aide in Larson's Hartford office; Conor Quinn to deputy chief of staff in the Hartford office; and Mary Yatrousis to communications director. New hires include senior policy advisor Nancy Powers Perry and Kevin Rivera, the new press assistant in Larson's Hartford office. Joyce Z. Thielen has been named program director for the University of Hartford's new bachelor's degree nursing program. Thielen previously served as associate dean for outcomes and accreditation at Elms College in Chicopee, Mass. Patrick Doyle has been named executive director of KNOX Inc., a Hartford nonprofit that offers neighborhood beautification and urban gardening programs. Doyle most recently served as senior community engagement manager at the United Way of Central and Northeastern Connecticut. He has more than 20 years of nonprofit management and community-engagement experience. Hartford law firm Halloran & Sage LLP elected three new partners. New partners include Rachel Fain, a member of the firm's litigation and dispute resolution practice group; Casey O'Connell, a member of the firm's corporate business and transactions and real estate practice groups; and Oscar Suarez, a member of the firm's insurance and banking, lender liability and foreclosure practice groups. Michael P. Dandini was hired as chief risk officer of property-casualty insurance company IFG Companies in Hartford. Prior to joining IFG Companies, Dandini was president and chief executive officer of Berkley FinSecure and Berkley Crime. At IFG, he will assume responsibility for IFG Companies' enterprise risk management function. Farhana Arif and Matt Straub have joined Hartford nonprofit The Local Initiatives Support Corp. (LISC), which supports community-development corporations Arif is now community economic development program officer at LISC. Straub will be LISC's new program officer for lending and investment support. Jeff Lower has been hired as vice president at Loureiro Contractors Inc., a Plainville-based multi-disciplinary firm providing engineering, environmental health and safety, energy, facility, waste- management consulting, construction and laboratory analytical services. Lower was most recently a vice president of the heavy highway division for a specialty environmental and construction company. He has 27 years of experience in civil engineering and construction.
