The bank joins 41 financial institutions in Maine that hold IOLTA accounts for Maine lawyers. It is the seventh Prime Partner that has com- mitted to paying the highest interest rates, as determined by the founda- tion, on IOLTAs established at its branches. Proposal in the works for Rockland factory site A Rockland resident has plans to redevelop the former Bicknell Manufacturing Co. property, at 9-11 Lime St., into a multi-use campus. Valerie Landsburg presented a con- ceptual plan to the Rockland City Council that calls for residential, retail, office, maker space, pub- lic space and parking. Landsburg said she moved to Rockland from Topanga Canyon, Calif., in 2013. She's an instructor at Maine Media Workshops & College in Rockport. e property consists of six indus- trial and warehouse buildings total- ing 25,895 square feet on 1.14 acres. e property identified as 11 Lime St. appears on a real estate list- ing site as being on the market for $1.295 million. Bar Harbor nonprofit closes on deal to sell HQ Maine Seacoast Mission closed on the sale of its headquarters in Bar Harbor on April 2. Bar Harbor Historical Society purchased the property, known as La Rochelle and located on the waterfront at 127 West St., for $4.75 million, Kim Swan of Swan Agency Sotheby's International Realty told Mainebiz by email. Swan is a member of the historical society's board of direc- tors. e purchase includes the historic former mansion, built in 1902, on a 2.84-acre lot. e mis- sion will rent back the second floor from the historical society until its new offices are completed, which is expected to take at least a year.
