Recovery Centers hires new chief medical officer A 19-year veteran of substance abuse treatment is joining Recovery Centers of America as the chief medical officer at its Westminster and Danvers facilities. Heidi Ginter has worked in the addic- tion treatment field since 2000 and is a prominent voice in medication-assisted treatment, having lectured extensively on opioid dependency and how other medicines can help fight the disease, RCA said in an announcement. Ginter will oversee all medical treatment at RCA's alcohol and drug addiction facilities in Massachusetts.
