Three's company (l-r): Sheila Brantley, New Haven BIZ's Ronni Rabin and Tammy
Potis of Harbor Linen get acquainted.
Barroom sprawl: The Blake's restaurant and bar is named Hamilton Park after New

eb. 1 marked the debut of New Haven's newest gilded
palace of hospitality, the Blake — a luxury boutique hotel
at George and High Streets.
e 108-room extended-stay hotel just two blocks
from Yale, the Blake is the handiwork of developer
Randy Salvatore, president and CEO or RMS Companies
of Stamford. RMS also recently developed the $40 million
Novella, a 136-unit luxury apartment complex at Chapel and
Howe streets.

Couched in no uncertain terms are Aiden Migani of O'Riordan Migani Architects
in Seymour and Amanda Carless of the Yale School of Management.
Hot licks, cool jams: For entertainment, the Blake induced Grammy-winner
trumpeter/composer/producer Michael Leonhart to bring his eponymous orchestra
of NYC/Brooklyn studio/session cats up from Gotham for a side gig in the City of
Elms. They were, to borrow from Steely Dan's Donald Fagan, cruel.
