Simsbury Bank sponsors Salvation Army Holiday Store Simsbury Bank recently made a $2,500 sponsorship contribution to the Salvation Army as part of WTIC NewsTalk 1080's annual Holiday Store program. Additionally, Simsbury Bank facilitated the collection of toys for children of all ages at the bank's Avon office in support of the Salvation Army's Holiday Store. ConnectiCare gives back to Connecticut Food Bank ConnectiCare members and employees volunteered at the Connecticut Food Bank to sort and organize 14,000 pounds of food for feeding programs in the area. Volunteers gathered as part of ConnectiCare's Good Deeds program, which provides members and employees with opportunities to serve the community and promote healthier lifestyles. Otis Elevators donates holiday toys to Big Brothers Big Sisters Representatives from Otis Elevators in East Hartford visited the Hartford office of Nutmeg Big Brothers Big Sisters to drop off more than 60 employee- donated toys for children in the nonprofit's community-based program.
