MicroCare helps feed families in need MicroCare Cares, the charitable arm of New Britain-based MicroCare Corp., recently committed a portion of its fundraising dollars towards Family Promise of Central Connecticut's Family Promise van. The van transports homeless families daily to and from their day center home base at Family Promise in New Britain to various host congregations. REALTOR Association's golf tourney benefits Hartford nonprofit The Greater Hartford Association of REALTORS 14th Annual Charity Golf Tournament in September raised $12,750 from sponsors, attendees and REALTOR members. The proceeds from the event supported Rebuilding Together Hartford, a nonprofit that brings volunteers and communities together to improve the lives of low- income Hartford homeowners. Sirois Tool supports future manufacturers Sirois Tool of Berlin recently hosted a facility tour for a group of students at Vinal Technical High School. The tour was provided to educate the students about manufacturing so they will be able to make a more informed decision when they go through career selection. Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association's Women's Caucus Section would like to thank all of the members who gave generously and participated as drop-off locations in the BH Care/My Sister's Place Donation Drive. Your gifts and efforts have made a tremendous difference in the lives of those suffering through domestic violence, and those on their journey through recovery.
