Benet stepped down from his post at the end of August, replaced by Daniel S. Frey, who was previously CFO of Travelers' personal insurance segment. The company also committed $5 million to support policyholders suffering from crumbling concrete foundations in Connecticut. Windsor wealth manager-advisor Voya Financial Inc. in June acquired California deferred pay-benefit consultancy Pen-Cal Administrators Inc. to widen the menu of services for its retirement- business unit. Vantis Life Insurance Co. CEO Peter Tedone announced his retirement at year-end 2018 after serving in the post for 18 years. Ray Caucci is his replacement.
