Susan Herbst, UConn's first female president who led the school the past eight years, announced she is stepping down in 2019 to return to the classroom. Judy D. Olian, former dean of the UCLA Anderson School of Management, began her tenure in 2018 as the ninth president of Quinnipiac University. The University of Hartford Barney School of Business teamed up with UConn to launch a joint insurtech program. Trinity College inked an education partnership with Infosys, with hopes the multi-year initiative prepares students for careers in the tech-consulting industry. The University of St. Joseph in the fall of 2018, for the first time in its history, admitted men to its full-time undergraduate program.
