But a cluster of new residential devel- opments in Downtown Framingham within walking distance of the city's commuter rail stop promise to give Framingham a new look for those going beyond the office and retail complexes. Notable projects with construction underway this year include Alta Union House, a 196-unit apartment building across Concord Street from Downtown Common, a 16-unit building at 68 South St. and a 270-unit project at 266 Waverly St. called Modera Framingham. Others were approved for develop- ment, placing them next in the order of new projects.
