New England Center for Children educator of the year The New England Center for Children in Southborough, which serves children with autism, has named Jacquelyn MacDonald its educator of the year. The NECC gives the award to an educator it believes exemplifies commitment, leadership and excellence. MacDonald is an assistant professor and graduate program director of applied behavior analysis at Regis College. She also founded the Autism Center at Regis and co-hosts a podcast about applied behavior analysis and related research. Vincent Strully, NECC's president and CEO, said MacDonald has transformed the lives of children and influenced teachers she's trained to spread the benefits of applied behavior analysis.
