Here you'll find popular street foods from all over Latin America – portable, filling and flavorful. e trucks also supply sauces and condiments to elevate your meal. Sincronizadas are light Mexican street-food snacks, here made with corn tortillas, chicken and a bit of cheese. Alambres - Grilled beef with toppings, usually served with a tortilla. Bacalaito - Fried codfish fritter. Cemita - Sandwich on a sesame- seed bun. Mofongo - Mashed plantain, the signature dish of Puerto Rico. Pincho - Meat kabob with toast or fried plantains. Sincronizada - Tortilla-based sandwich with meat and cheese. Taco Arabe - Lamb wrapped in pita bread, "Arab" style. Tacos Placeros - Rice, meat and and half a jalapeño on a tortilla Torta - A meat sandwich on a fluffy roll with lots of toppings. Tripleta - Puerto Rican sandwich with three types of meats and topped with potato sticks. Here's a guide to some of the dishes typically on offer. injera, a flatbread made from the Ethiopian staple grain, teff. Tessema herself goes out to staff one of the carts on some days.
