Arcata was a Hartford Business Journal 40 Under 40 winner in 2012. Jason Stabach has been promoted to architectural principal at ID3A LLC, a Glastonbury architectural and interior-design firm. Stabach's recent projects include Stanley Black & Decker's new Manufactory 4.0 at Constitution Plaza in downtown Hartford. His 17-year career has focused on design and construction of corporate, commercial and higher- education projects. Peter M. Gioia and Denise Robidoux have joined Goman+York Property Advisors LLC, an East Hartford real estate advisory firm as managing director, economic and policy research; and engagement manager, respectively. Gioia has managed research, business surveys, and policy conferences for the Connecticut Business & Industry Association for several decades. In his new position, he will work to enhance the firm's forecasting and comprehensive analysis on a wide range of matters related to economic development and public policy. Robidoux, a former small business owner, has significant experience in fields including commercial real estate, shopping center and retail store management and nonprofit development. Dr. Claudia Gruss was inaugurated the 180th president of the Connecticut State Medical Society. Gruss, a Wilton-based gastroenterologist at the Western Connecticut Medical Group, succeeds 179th Connecticut State Medical Society President Dr. Steven Thornquist. The SLAM Collaborative (SLAM), a Glastonbury-based architectural firm, has promoted three employees at its flagship office to the rank of associate principal. Amy Mund Christmas of Marlboro has worked for SLAM since graduating from Wentworth Institution of Technology in 1996. Christmas is a key player in developing SLAM's discovery-driven programming and planning approach. Geoffrey Gaunt of Wethersfield is a certified architect with more than 19 years of experience as a project architect. Gaunt is heavily involved in the entire building process, from planning to construction. Julija Singer of Farmington is a certified architect with 28 years of experience as a design architect, 18 of those years with SLAM. Singer serves the firm's higher education, healthcare and corporate studios, with a focus in educational and research buildings. Mimi Rog was hired as senior vice president and director of learning and talent management at Webster Bank. Rog most recently worked as executive human resources business partner of digital technology at General Electric. In her new role, she will be responsible for strategy and programs related to talent management, professional development, business education, leadership development, career development and certifications. Sheila Grady has been hired as the town of Enfield's senior-center manager. Grady previously worked at the Ashford Senior Center, where she served as director and agent for the elderly since 2015.
