In the busi- ness valuation group Casey Karlsen was hired as senior valuation analyst. In the consulting group Jim Downie, Robert Haughton, Marnie Hudson, Erin Provazek, Frank Qin, Jonathan Roderick, Naomi Snodgrass and Mitch Weinzetl were hired as senior consultants; Jodi Hill, senior manager; and Gina Occhipinti, Sarah Stacki and Melinda Trail, consultants. In the tax group Chandra Cooper, Kyle McVey, Mayson Picard and Emily Saunders were hired as tax specialists. SMRT Architects and Engineers in Portland hired Robert Corson as a senior health care architect. Corson has 25 years of design and project experience and most recently served as in-house principal planner and lead architect at Exeter Health Resources, Exeter, N.H.-based parent of Exeter Hospital and its affiliates. PortMA, a marketing analytics and research company in Portland, hired Katie Clark as COO and research direc- tor. Clark most recently led the research team at Diversified Communications. Midcoast Federal Credit Union in Freeport announced several new hires including Laurie Grinnan as retail services supervi- sor and assistant branch manager in Bath; Christopher Sadler, compliance and risk officer in Freeport; Melissa Lowell, financial analyst in Freeport; and financial services representatives Rachel Siford in Brunswick, Ashlea Dorrinton in Bath and Desiree Foley in omaston. Acadia Benefits, an employee ben- efits firm in Portland, hired Catherine Desrochers as a large-group account manager. Desrochers is a Licensed Health and Life Insurance Producer in the state of Maine with 15 years of expe- rience in the employee benefits field. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Maine hired Nicole Avery as executive director. Avery most recently was executive direc- tor of the Cancer Community Center. Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor hired Bernard Richardson as head chaplain and director, chaplain services. In his most recent position, Richardson served as senior chaplain and certified physician executive-educa- tor at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore. Camden National Wealth Management hired Stephen Olore as senior vice presi- dent, director of technical research and analysis and Patrick White-Thomson as vice president, portfolio manager. Most recently, Olore served as senior portfolio manager at People's United Bank while White-omson was senior portfolio manager and investment strategist at Holly Street Wealth Management. The AC Hotel Portland Downtown/ Waterfront announced several new hires: Bill Hagen as assistant general manager; Steven Fennell, director of engineering; Dena Dix, seniors sales manager; Brittany Wright, sales coordi- nator; Seamus Perry, front office man- ager; Ryan Holmes, assistant operations manager; and Peter Bennoch, house- keeping manager.
