W illco has been supplying prod- ucts and services throughout New England for over 60 years. The company's space man- agement division offers everything from folding walls to security doors and smoke protection; its compac- tors and chutes products offer high-end trash, linen and recycling systems for hi-rises and large build- ings; and its solatube daylighting technology can redirect natural sunlight into any space. Recent accomplishments Willco, which has added three new employees in the last year, has taken on many new products and also launched a new website that allows customers to browse through its long line of products, with high-resolution photos and information. The company also has a new marketing campaign on LinkedIn, Facebook, Google Ad- Words, to help boost its brand online. How do you remain competitive in the market? Willco represents the leading manufacturers of all the products we sell and install, and remain the go-to experts in the design and architec- tural community. We are also always reaching out to new customers, whether it be lunch and learns with architects, online marketing with Google and social media, or bidding through a variety of online platforms. However, one true advantage Willco has over our competition is the Inter- national Distributors Network of North America (IDNNA) founded in 2007. Through this network, Willco has part- nered with family and locally owned businesses from around the nation to connect and share industry insight, and the best up-and-coming products. This organization allows us all to provide a helping hand to our peers in other territories, while creating a base for nationwide customer service and support. How do you instill your family values in your employees? We are all about family first here at Willco. Everyone is really here to help each other, and the relaxed, yet dedi- cated environment shines through each and every day. Realizing that we are all in this together, and working to build something that has been in our family for generations is a great motivator for hard work and clear open lines of communication. Teamwork is also a key to creating an efficient work environment for us; and by scheduling regular meetings with sales, project managers, and the board of directors, we are always able to stay informed and ahead of the curve. 4 TH PLACE — 25 to 75 employees category Willco Sales & Service Inc.
