The Worcester offices of Harvard Pilgrim Health awarded $3,500 total to Animal
Rescue League of Worcester, Employers Against Domestic Violence, Mount Carmel
Preservation Society, Saint John's Food for the Poor, S.T.E.P. at Columbus Park
Preparatory Academy School and Worcester Cowboys Football & Cheerleading.
The money is from the Community Spirit 9/11 Mini-Grant program, established to honor
members who lost their lives on Sept. 11, 2001. Pictured (from left) are Harvard Pilgrim's

Children's change agents
Comprehensive Benefit Administrators, with offices in Southborough, hosted the 10th
Annual "The Mike" Golf Invitational, raising more than $87,000 for The New England
Center for Children. Event sponsors included Unum and Fallon Health. Pictured (from
left) are Lori, Matthew, Michael and Michael McKenna Jr. Lori and Michael founded the
event. Their son Michael Jr., a student at the center, was diagnosed with autism at 18
months old.
