Located in the onetime Starter Sportswear building at 470 James Street, District New Haven is the city's newest tech incubator/enter- tainment complex. Side sessions at the event addressed such subjects as career coaching, résumé reviewing and entrepreneurship facilitated by innovative groups such as LBD Firm and Collab. PULSE (Professionals Utilizing Learning & Social Events) is a group for young professionals ages 21 to 40 working in a variety of industries throughout greater New Haven and who meet regularly for networking and professional development. Learn more about the group at gnhcc. com/pages/aboutpulse. In the traditional corporate office configuration workstations are enclosed by half-walls for privacy and acoustical isolation. At The Drive such "cubicles" have been turned inside out, opening up for communication and collaboration (and sometimes noshing).
