I have been trained in an abundance of jobs, some that at first glance I was doubtful I could do. But, surpassing that doubt gives me pride because not only did I go beyond my limits, but I was able to further help the team and the company. I am highly grateful for Saint-Gobain having been so flexible with me, both in the jobs I learn and with my work hours. As my semesters start I can rest assured that my work hours can be adjusted to meet my school schedule. It gives me peace of mind to know that I can do well at school and work simultaneously." Position: Production Machinist Age: 35 School: Wachusett Regional High School, Corporal in the United States Marine Corps 2000-2006 Years at Company: 12 years "I started as a temporary employee and have moved to a permanent position and then on to a team leadership position. I have found that this place really gives you an opportunity to grow both professionally and personally. There is always an opportunity to learn something new. I hope to keep gaining more responsibility and continue to add value to the organization. It is a safe place to work and the team around you is friendly, everyone wants the site to be successful." Position: Molder Age: 21 School: Burncoat HS, currently attending Worcester State for Communications Years at Company: 1.5 years "Looking back I wish I had gone to vocational school to learn machining. My military training gave me a chance to learn the basics of how to be a machinist and now I have a chance to continue to grow my skills in Saint- Gobain with the MassMEP MOST program. My job is technical and I enjoy training new employees. I take a personal responsibility to make sure they are clear on how to safely approach their job." Position: Team Leader Age: 30 School: Bay Path Regional Vocational HS Years at Company: 7 years Sthefany Lamoureux Drew Milionis Andrew Laporte
