18 Hartford Business Journal • October 1, 2018 • www.HartfordBusiness.com Movers & Shakers Oswald "Ozzy" Obando was promoted to vice president, commercial banking, and Brendan Theroux was bumped up to assistant vice president, commercial banking officer at United Bank in Hartford. Obando previously held the title of assistant vice president and risk officer/portfolio manager on the bank's syndicated loan team. He will now be responsible for growing the bank's commercial and industrial lending portfolio. Theroux last served as United Bank's assistant vice president and portfolio manager. He is a graduate of the Connecticut School of Finance & Management and a member of MetroHartford Alliance's young professionals group, HYPE. Dr. Nicole Seagriff was named clinical program director at Community Health Center Inc., a nonprofit healthcare provider with locations in 14 Connecticut cities and towns. In the newly created job, Seagriff will provide expert clinical leadership in CHC's Nurse Practitioner Residency program development, curriculum, training and evaluation. She previously worked as a family nurse practitioner and medical director at CHC's Norwalk and Stamford primary care practices. Tom Grottke and Mark Shaw were both hired as managing directors in performance consulting at the Hartford office of Crowe LLP, a public accounting, consulting and technology firm. Grottke will work as a lead advisor, delivering strategic services, enterprise projects, organization and business process reviews, and change management. Shaw will provide performance and technology services to financial institutions. Dr. Joshua Hazelton has joined Z-Medica LLC, a Wallingford-based medtech company, as chief medical officer. The part-time job will require Hazelton to serve as a liaison, resource and advisor on clinical matters pertaining to Z-Medica's product portfolio. He is a graduate of Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he completed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine and General Surgery Residency. David MacDonald has been named executive director of the Asylum Hill Neighborhood Association (AHNA), a Hartford nonprofit meant to empower and connect residents and stakeholders to improve the quality of life in the Asylum Hill section of Hartford. MacDonald will help lead the effort to enact AHNA's strategic plan for Asylum Hill's revitalization. He is a long- time community leader and nonprofit professional. Therese A. Sprinkle was appointed chair of the Quinnipiac University School of Business' healthcare management and organizational leadership department. Sprinkle currently works as an assistant professor of management. She will replace outgoing chair, Angela Mattie. John M. Moreira has been promoted to senior vice president and treasurer at electric utility Eversource. Moreira most recently worked as vice president, financial planning and analysis at Eversource. In his new role, he will oversee transmission and distribution rates, financial planning and analysis, treasury and investment management. Anyeline Cespedes-Lopez has joined United Way of Central and Northeastern Connecticut as a marketing communications administrative assistant. Cespedes-Lopez will perform the administrative functions of the department and support the implementation of year-round marketing and communications strategies. Katiria Delgado has been named program manager of Hartford Generation Work, a partnership of Capital Workforce Partners, the city of Hartford, the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving and United Way of Central and Northeastern Connecticut, supported by the Annie E. Casey Foundation. Delgado will focus on systems and practices in youth development and other community-based organizations, workforce development and employment. Tom Grottke Therese A.
