Key areas of programming occur in Newry (Sunday River), Carrabassett Valley (Sugarloaf), New Gloucester (Pineland Farms), Bethel (Bethel Village Trails and Androscoggin River), Norway (Norway Lake), Greenwood (Mt Abram), Freeport (Freeport Country Club), Chebeague Island, Camden (Camden Hills State Park), Poland (Range Pond), Portland (Back Cove Trails), North Yarmouth (Toddy Brook Country Club), Scarborough (Salt Pump Climbing Co.), Bar Harbor (Acadia National Park), Rumford (Black Mountain), Jefferson (Damariscotta Lake) and Bangor (Bangor City Forest). 2019 GOALS f Grow: Expand our impact to enable more people in more places to access our services. FUNDRAISING EVENTS/OPPORTUNITIES Corporate Sponsorship Programs are available on a seasonal, specialty program and sport specific basis including opportunities to provide equipment and schol- arships for these offerings. In addition, we host a signature event, the Ski-A-Thon, which takes place at Sunday River Ski Resort each March. is year's event will take place on March 23, 2019 and will be the 34th consecutive year of the event, which serves as a celebration of our year-round programming. Sponsor one of our specialty programs: f rough its Veterans No Boundaries Program, Maine Adaptive provides veterans and active duty personnel with disabilities (and their immedi- ate family members) summer and winter adaptive sports activities, free of charge. e summer camp is held each August at Camp Wavus/Kieve in Jefferson. e winter camp will be held on Jan. 24-28, 2019 at Sunday River. f NEVI*Fest is held each February at Sugarloaf. In addition to providing on- snow lessons to beginners-advanced skiers/riders that have a visual impair- ment, this festival is also committed to teaching friends and family in how to become guides. e 2019 event dates will be Feb. 10-13. f Each year Maine Adaptive hosts a three-day Mono-Ski Training Clinic at Sunday River. Clinics are taught by skilled mono-skiers with the goal of improving your skiing ability and comfort level in all aspects of the sport. is year's camp will be held on March 6–8, 2019. We will have a less formal two-day mono-ski workshop at Sugarloaf on Feb. 22–23, 2019. f The Alpine Race Team is open to skiers with disabilities who are intermedi- ate or better skiers and who are independent in all aspects of skiing.
