Continue to serve the Maine community by providing: f Developmental preschool and center-based programming age 3-5 f School Based Day Treatment Services K-12 f Residential treatment to children and adolescence with Autism and other mental health disabilities f erapeutic Foster Care Families to children needing a home f Individual case management f Counseling (in home or in offi ce) 2. Strengthening our relationships within the community by launching a Maine Board of Associates. 3. Launching a capital campaign to secure the donations necessary to make needed improvements to our grounds and facilities. 4. Growing our Foster Care Community by recruiting more loving people to provide good Foster Homes. FUNDRAISING EVENTS/OPPORTUNITIES f Graham Lake Playground Campaign Various events to raise funds for a new playground f Annual Holiday Gift Giving Campaign To support the purchase of holiday gifts for youth/families served by KidsPeace in Maine f Annual KidsDay Celebration: Second Sunday in August To support the National KidsDay celebration on the Graham Lake Campus with fun and games for all f Foster Parent Recognition: May Recognizing our foster parents with special events during National Foster Parent month! f Foster Family Home Renovations Providing funds to help foster families with minor renovations to their homes to meet licensing standards Supporters can donate to these eff orts by check, online or through in-kind support and/or help solicit sponsors, vendors and volunteers to help with mar- keting and coordinating each of these events. GIVING OPPORTUNITIES 1. The Maine Children's Fund provides those items that are not considered "essen- tials" but are important to encouraging hope and healing for the children in our care. is fund covers birthday gifts, Christmas and holiday gifts, special celebrations for success achieved, opportunities to receive special lessons like learning to play an instrument or playing on a sports team, attending a special camp or event, etc. 2. Graham Lake Playground Fund was established to provide the playground equip- ment appropriate for the children in our care on the Graham Lake Campus. 3. General Children's Fund provides funding for children under the care of KidsPeace (holiday gifts, birthdays, school supplies, etc.). VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES e easiest way to donate and/or volunteer your time is to contact your nearest local KidsPeace offi ce (easily found at www.kidspeace.org, choose a Maine location to learn more about our programs, all of our upcoming special events/ fundraisers and to donate).
