A fund would allow us to help more people. Funding, food and in-kind camping donations provide kids in Maine the opportunity to experience a summer camp adventure. We also accept funding and food donations to all of or housing to help resi- dents with food insecurity issues. VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES Business and individual volunteers are vital contributors to our programs. f VOA's aff ordable senior houses provide opportunities for volunteers to: improve the grounds around facilities (landscaping, painting, cleaning); help at community meals (cooking, serving, cleaning, spending time with residents); provide training/classes (computer, exercise, gardening); provide music and activities, including visual presentations. f Volunteers help residents of our Community Justice program, including volunteers with Restorative Justice. f Volunteers/supporters provide vital supplies/goods/food/celebrations/cama- raderie to residents in our Veterans Services programs. Two motorcycle rides provide funds to veterans. Cabin in the Woods – permanent housing for veterans – welcomes volunteers. f Camp POSTCARD, VOA's free summer camp relies on volunteers.
