With only restaurant experience I was excited to be given the opportunity to work somewhere that offered advancement and training. I started out in Final Assembly on second shift where I learned the importance of quality, safety, comradery, and lean principles. With the support and guidance of team leaders and peers, and an eagerness to learn, I was able to advance to Assembly Specialist after a year. In this position I was able to gain more knowledge about blueprints, line setups and other key factors for my development. After a year as a specialist, I was privileged to be promoted to a Lean Coordinator. I am currently gaining perspectives on different methods and learning more business strategies to improve efficiencies in many areas of the operations, improving delivery time and cost. I enjoy what I do and the folks I work with, and will continue to grow and seek out future opportunities."
