After 90 days of training, Chris was hired as a full-time machine operator. In the last three years, Chris has been promoted several times. He is now a line lead of a multi-million dollar production line and leads continuous improvement teams. Chris is continuing to develop as a line lead while participating in Lindt's tuition reimbursement program in pursuit of his engineering degree. "I came here out of high school with a technical school program. We came here for a tour and it was clear after talking to several people that the benefits and opportunities for growth and advancement were great. I took the job and have since worked my way up from an entry level machine operator with no manufacturing experience to a line lead on the newest truffle line. I have also been fortunate enough to participate and lead continuous improvement teams here with Lindt, expanding my skill set and contributing to the company as a whole. I have been here for almost three years now and I feel that joining the Lindt team was the best decision I could have made coming out of high school and going into the real world. Lindt has been great with helping me pursue my goals both in and outside of work… I look forward to a long and bright future here at Lindt." Kathy Martineau Kathy initially joined Lindt as a temporary employee in the Moulding department. It wasn't too long before she was hired full time and provided the opportunity to take on many progressive roles with the production facility. She was recently promoted to supervise a team and coordinate training for three production departments, is an active member of the Safety Committee and is pursuing further education. "Lindt is a place where I feel valued and depended on. I know there is even more opportunity ahead for both my career and personal growth." Kathy Martineau Lindt employees participate annually in the company's United Way Days of Caring/Community Engagement program.
