Most of my volunteer activities have involved youth and adolescents. Little did I realize at the time that my son would later attend YOU Inc.'s alternative education program from grades 7-12. Once he graduated, I stepped onto the board again and I am now in my third rotation as a board member. Over the last three decades, I have chaired committees and held various officer positions, including Treasurer and now Chairman of the BOD. YOU Inc. has become a part of my extended family. – Roy Angel, Board Chair Each year YOU, Inc. holds 2-3 fundraising events to support one or all of our programs. For up-to-date information on events, please visit www.youinc.org/participate. Volunteer opportunities at YOU, Inc. often include one-day site clean-ups at our youth sites, mentoring or tutoring students in our college success programs, and serving on committees such as Young Professionals. YOU, Inc. accepts both monetary and in-kind donations year round. We have an Annual Appeal each fall and donations can be made online any time of the year at www.youinc.org/donate. For in-kind donations we take anything from gently used clothing for all ages and genders to feminine products. Finally, YOU, Inc. will be launching the public phase of its "Forward to Fifty: Creating Opportunities for Youth" Capital Campaign shortly this fall. We aim to raise $1.8 million for capital renovations and to expand our child psychiatry services. Donations for the Capital Campaign can be made online and by mail, and questions about pledging support can be directed to the Chief Executive Officer, Kristine Bostek, at 508-552-7550 or bostekk@youinc.org.
