Tower Hill's mission is fueled by our community through visitation, corporate sponsorship, and volunteering. Here are a few of our upcoming events in which you can be involved: Night Lights: Winter Reimagined: November 23-December 30, 2018 Celebrate the season with thousands of lights, fun, new experiences, and enchanting landscapes. This year we are celebrating patterns in nature. Enjoy s'mores, seasonal drinks, and fun photo opportunities. Pre-purchased tickets for evening admission are required. George Sherwood Art Exhibition: April 13 – October 14, 2019 Through kinetic sculptures, George Sherwood explores the dynamic relationships of objects in motion. As outdoor works, wind speed and direction, shades of light, time of day, precipitation, and seasonal color transform the light and movement of each sculpture. Sherwood's work has been featured at The Currier Museum, Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, The Christian Science Center in Boston, and on The Rose Kennedy Greenway. Tower Hill's exhibit will feature 12 sculptures throughout the gardens. No need for a green thumb! Join our diverse volunteer community and learn more about plants, be a part of a group with similar interests, and help Tower Hill with its mission to connect people with plants. Weekday opportunities: Garden Volunteers (April –October), Youth Education Program Assistants, Library Research Projects, Administrative Support, and Night Lights: Winter Reimagined Crafting. Weekend opportunities: Special Events, Membership promotion, Library Support, Night Lights: Winter Reimagined Support, Youth Drop-In Activities, and Docent Garden Guides. Corporate and group volunteers welcome! Participate in some team- building and treat your employees to a day of service in the Gardens planting flower bulbs, clearing paths or helping to maintain the Gardens.
