With just five years of experience at Boston Scientific under his belt, Jones was asked to take the role of interim controller for the company's neuromodulation division, taking on a level of responsibility and visibility he previously didn't think he was ready for. He was, as the division grew from $271 million to $635 million in the last seven years. For those efforts, he earned the company's Excellence in Finance Leadership Award. Now, he controls $700 million of functional spending at Boston Scientific. He led the finance integration of the medical device giant's acquisition of Burlington- based Cosman Medical in 2016. Now, he manages a team of 11 finance professionals and serves as the finance business partner for company executives and leadership members. He spends a significant amount of time on causes close to himself at work, at home and in the community. At work, he supports the American Heart Association. At home, he coaches youth soccer and baseball and sits on the board of the National Kidney Foundation and is a fundraiser for the Jimmy Fund, Team Impact and Golf Fights Cancer. Cancer research hits home for Jones, as his son has been battling a rare form of lymphoma for more than a year. College: Brigham Young University – Idaho Jennifer Leger, 39 Vice president & cash management operations manager Fidelity Bank, Leominster Lives: Shirley Birthplace: Leominster When Leger began as a teller at Fidelity Bank's Fitchburg branch, she was a single mother of a 3-year-old boy. She's climbed the ladder, becoming head teller, deposit operations representative, call center and commercial services supervisor and assistant vice president. Leger is now the face of the bank to some of its largest business clients. She played a key role in the merger with Barre Savings bank in 2016 by spearheading the cash-management conversion. She is on the management task force finalizing Fidelity's merger with Colonial Co- operative Bank. She was responsible for establishing the bank's cash management operations department in 2009 and overseeing that growth, which has allowed the bank to increase its product offering and increase the bank's client total while supporting a multi-million dollar portfolio. She is a founding member of the Heart Club, a Fidelity Bank committee ensuring employees work in a positive environment. She won the bank's Mission Accomplished award for representing the support departments and the Pursuit of Excellence award for personifying the bank's core values.
