Hayes was previously employed at GVS Filter Technology while Durgin was with Anthem. Norway Savings Bank hired Christine Munroe as market manager of its two Brunswick branches. Speak About It, a nonprofi t in Portland, hired Olivia Harris as executive director. Harris, who is based out of Philadelphia, Pa., is an applied theater artist and educator who mostly recently served as the organizational learning specialist at Harlem Children's Zone and an Albert Greenfi eld Fellow at the Philadelphia eatre Co. Tedford Housing, a nonprofi t agency in Brunswick whose mission is to fi nd lasting solutions to the challenges of homelessness, hired Andrea Meadows as accounting assistant. Corrie Anderson joined All About Women, a specialty practice of Mercy Hospital in Portland. Anderson was with Rochester Gynecologic and Obstetric Associates in Rochester, N.Y. The Portland Symphony Orchestra named Eckart Preu music director. Preu was pre- viously music director of the Spokane Symphony in Washington state. Community Health Options in Lewiston hired Joanne Lauterbach as control- ler. Lauterbach, who has 21 years of fi nance and accounting experience, was most recently with Anthem Inc. Spurwink Services, a Portland-based nonprofi t off ering a broad range of mental health, education and residen- tial services, hired Amanda Brownell as a pediatrician with its child abuse program team. Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor hired Sheri Norwood as a wom- en's health nurse practitioner at EMMC Gynecology Associates. [ P R O M O T I O N S ] Cheney Insurance in Damariscotta pro- moted Suzanne Strachan to executive vice president. Strachan was previously man- ager of the agency's personal insurance and support teams. Geiger, a promotional products distribu- tor in Lewiston, promoted Holly Miller to merchandising and marketing support specialist in Crestline, its catalog divi- sion. Miller was previously customer care specialist in the division. Harriman, an architecture fi rm in Auburn, promoted Lisa Sawin to senior associate and Sharon Ames to associate. Sawin is a senior architect and project manager in the fi rm's education studio in the fi rm's Auburn and Portland offi ces while Ames is a senior archi- tect in the fi rm's higher education stu- dio in Portland. Woodard & Curran, an engineering fi rm in Portland spe- cializing in water and environmental projects, promoted Peter Nangeroni to industrial and com- mercial strategic business unit leader. Nangeroni most recently served as director of technical practices. Tedford Housing, a nonprofi t agency in Brunswick whose mission is to fi nd last- ing solutions to the challenges of home- lessness, promoted Danielle Triffi tt from offi ce manager to business manager. Acadia Hospital in Bangor promoted Brent Scobie to vice president for cli- nician services and quality. Scobie has been with the hospital in a variety of leadership roles for 20 years.
