A decade ago, the publisher and the editor of Mainebiz, both
women, took a hard look at our pages and said, "Where
are the women?" That question led to some soul searching
and eventually to Women to Watch, an annual award given
to female executives who are making an impact in the
business world. Now, after 10 years, Mainebiz has honored
46 women, including this year's newest honorees. This
issue includes profiles of this year's Women to Watch as
well as a special insert commemorating all of the honorees
from the past 10 years.
