The Maine Small Business Development Centers selected Peter Harriman as its "2018 State Star." e annual award recognizes a staff member that has shown exemplary performance and a strong commitment to small business success. Harriman is a certifi ed busi- ness advisor at the center located at University of Southern Maine in Portland. Portland Magazine said it received two awards at the National Association of Real Estate Editors' 68th Annual Journalism Competition. e Summerguide 2017 story "Dream Islands," written by founding publisher and editor Colin Sargent and Willis Kuelthau, won a "Bronze Award for Best Team Report" and "Weathering Heights" (December 2017), written by Sargent, received a "Bronze Award for the Best Residential, Mortgage or Financial Real Estate Magazine Story (general circulation)." Scott Macha, a detailer at Total Eclipse Auto Detailing in Yarmouth, was selected to the 1th annual Air Force One Detailing Team for the second straight year. Macha will join 64 other profes- sional detailers from around the U.S. to continue the annual cleaning and preservation of the presidential plane on display at Seattle's Museum of Flight.
