Services are offered at convenient times and locations, including evenings and weekends. WBCs are located within nonprofit host organizations that offer a variety of services in addition to those provided by the centers. Many WBCs also offer training and counseling, and provide materials, in different languages. e program has also taken a lead in preparing women business owners to apply for the Women-Owned Small Business Federal Contract program, which authorizes certain federal con- tracts be set aside for women-owned small businesses.
