Maine jobs related to global trade have increased 26% in the past decade. An initiative of MITC, StudyMaine is a consortium of Maine high schools, colleges, and universities designed to connect educational institutions with international students who want to attend high school or college in the United States. International students contribute over $82 million annually to Maine's economy. Internships in International Trade Our Future Global Leaders internship program teaches global market and workplace skills to some of the best and brightest Maine college students. To date, MITC has trained more than 200 Research Assistants. Young Global Professionals is a network of early career employees who have international perspective, experience, or interests.
